Maldives Tourism to undertake aggressive promotional activities in India

Maldives Tourism plans to implement aggressive promotional and marketing activities in India to increase tourist footfalls to the island nation. The country welcomed over 45,000 Indian tourists last year, recording a double-digit growth since 2010, informed Hussain Lirar, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Republic of Maldives. He was speakin at the recent four-city (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata) roadshow organised by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation. Read more
